During the pandemic, we decided to create a business model that would help the economic crisis African Descendants are facing. Data shows that more than 95,000 Black-Owned businesses were created and approximately 50% of them are Black Women. We are also aware that startups fail and wanted to provide an anchor for them to succeed. Buy Black Wholesale will be the first ever all Black wholesale facility dedicated to housing and selling exclusively Black-Owned products as well as providing a space for Black service professionals to have events, do hair, nails and provide other opportunities in the service industry.
We are in the preliminary stages and need capital to push this project forward and advance to the next stages of find a space, obtain necessary licenses, hire employees and launching the business. We are actively looking for financial support and ask that you invest to help progress this project.
Buy Black Wholesale will solve the problem of how Black-Owned businesses get their products/services in circulation. By providing a facility where customers can physically buy specific goods will help grow the revenue of Black-Owned businesses faster if they were doing it on their own. Studies show that creating an additional stream of income for a business increases their bottom-line as well as allows them to hire more staff and become more productive in their business, essentially expanding and leading to growth.
Our target customers are people who are looking to support the economic growth of Black businesses. They understand that economic justice is something that is in imminent danger for everyone especially the Black Community. We have learned that when the African American Community thrives, so does everyone else. Black people invest a significant amount of their spending dollars (nearly two trillion dollars annually) and is one of the smallest percentile groups in the United States. If African Descendants are in crisis, the economy will lose a major and important part of it financing.
